1. Summary
Recipes. does not collect, store, share or sell any personal data. There are no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
2. Your recipes
Your recipes are plain Markdown files stored on your device and in your own iCloud Drive, or in a folder you choose. The developer has no access to them. iCloud sync is provided by Apple and covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
3. Format with Apple Intelligence
Formatting uses Apple’s on-device language model. Your recipe text is processed entirely on your device and never leaves it.
4. Importing from photos and screenshots
Text recognition and formatting of imported images happen entirely on your device. Images are never uploaded or sent to the developer.
5. Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight
These features are handled by your device’s operating system. No information is sent to the developer.
6. Purchases
Recipes is a one-time purchase through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and the developer receives no payment details or personal information.
7. This website
This website (recipesapp.dev) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly service, to count visits in aggregate and understand general traffic trends. It sets no cookies, does not identify or track individuals, and builds no profiles. If you sign up for the email newsletter, your email address is securely processed by Kit strictly to send you updates about Recipes. The site uses system fonts and loads no third-party fonts, tracking pixels or advertising scripts. Standard server logs (such as IP addresses) may be temporarily processed by the hosting provider for security and reliability.
8. Contacting the developer
If you email recipesappdev@gmail.com, your email address and message are used only to reply to you and are never shared. You can ask for them to be deleted at any time.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access or delete any personal data held about you. The only data that could exist is correspondence you’ve sent (see section 8).
10. Changes to this policy
Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
